A Journey Inside the Micro-world | Wim van Egmond | TEDxGateway
Wim van Egmond takes the audience with him on a guided tour past some of the most wonderful characters you can find in the micro-world. He combines spectacular and funny movies with interesting facts. He primarily works as an independent artist but since his work brings together both art and science his images are often used as scientific illustrations. For many years he collaborated in the development of the unique museum for microbes, Micropia in Amsterdam for which he helped making content, images, films and a visitor friendly microscope. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Video here
