Please join us for this free, open to the public workshop – Zero Waste and Circular Economy Forum, February 1, 2020. Two representatives from Zero Waste USA will be moderating this event and share their experiences and expertise in an effort to move Gainesville’s Zero Waste movement forward.
Event details:
• The event will begin at 2pm with an opportunity for the community to mingle, meet with Zero Waste leaders, and become introduced to key elements of a Circular Economy.
• Zero Waste USA (zerowasteusa.org) will present and lead a panel discussion of community experts. Learn about Gainesville’s current Zero Waste efforts and ideas to guide us forward.
• The event will conclude with a journey through the Circular Economy interactive tables. Visit with representatives from organizations and businesses that participate in different components of the Circular Economy: Refuse, Reduce, Share, Reuse, Repurpose, Repair, Recycling and Rot. Learn ways to incorporate these actions into your daily routines. More details on the interactive tabling event coming soon!
